How your support helps
Especially in these soon-to-be post-lockdown times (we hope), after a year or more of confinement, disrupted routines and restricted activities, autistic children and their families are in especially great need of support.
We are working towards the launch of our new Family Services in the late Spring or as soon as lockdown restrictions allow. These will help parents to understand and respond to the signals their child is giving them, and to create a home environment where the child is far less subject to stress and in which they can thrive.
In partnership with TAP, Norland College is currently creating a therapeutic framework for these services, so that we can confidently assure parents that they are research and science based, and so that families can have confidence that they are sound and beneficial. You can read the press-release about this here, and more about our Family Services in general here.
But we can’t do this alone. We need your support as we work through the planning and launching of these ground-breaking and life-changing services.
Our aim is to raise £5,000 to help us deliver this pilot program.
We need funding to get to the point of going live with these services, and this is what March For Autism 2021 is all about. Please consider taking part and encouraging others to do the same.
