Give It Up For Autism in 6 Easy Steps
Step 1 - Decide what to give up
Make a list of those bad habits and narrow it down. Ask your friends and family! Still undecided? Get some inspiration from our team below:
Amanda is giving up Alcohol
Steve is giving up Annoying People with Bad Jokes
Dani is giving up Chocolate
Guy is giving up Checking for Emails Outside Work Hours
Step 2 - Let Us Know
Drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know you’re joining in and what you’re planning to give up - and we’ll be back in touch to welcome you.
Step 3 - Generate Support
Get on social media, tell your work colleagues, talk to your neighbour and use it as an excuse to get in touch with old friends. Let them know you’re taking on our challenge. Who knows? They might just join you!

Step 4 – Stay motivated
Finding it difficult to stick to your plan?
Register to receive our regular motivating emails in the box below (bottom of page), which will include others' stories as they go through their challenge, and tips to stay on track.
Tell everyone! Make yourself accountable and your friends and family will keep you going.
Don’t forget why you are doing it! Transforming Autism Project works to revolutionise the quality of life for autistic children, adults and their families. Your hard work will help us to deliver our service and change lives.
Step 5 – Share your progress and encourage others to join in
We’d love to hear how you’re getting on! We’ll be with you every step of the way, celebrating your progress. Together, we can do this and reach our goal of raising more than £5,000. Send us your updates and photos to email@example.com – we may even include them in our supporters newsletter (sign up for it in the box below).

You accepted our challenge and you won. We don’t mind if you lasted all month or had the occasional cheat day – you have helped us to transform the lives of autistic people and their families and that is worth celebrating! You probably feel a little healthier and happier too.
